eufest is All About the Music

Five unsigned bands from across the UK have been chosen to battle it out for the final of eufest's ‘All About the Music’ competition – a nationwide contest to find some of Britain’s best emerging bands.

KK at INmusic Festival

The event will take place at The Zephyr Lounge in Leamington Spa on Thursday 28th April, and the amazing prize the finalists will be playing for is a slot on stage at INmusic Festival in Croatia (one of Europe’s leading music festivals) this June.

Hundreds of quality bands entered the competition – which is run by Leamington-based festival travel company eufest - but only five could make it through to the final.

The chosen few are Midlands-based bands Commonjets and Paradise Forum, Sheffield rock act The Castellers, Liverpool’s The Haze and Londoners The Strangers. The winner will be chosen on the night by a panel of judges from across the music industry. Last year’s winners Katalina Kicks, who opened the main stage in Croatia for Paolo Nutini and Franz Ferdinand & Sparks in 2015, will be headlining the final.

“Supporting new and upcoming bands or artists is what this competition is all about,” said eufest’s director, Dermot O’Flynn. “We’ve got a great line-up and it’s going to be a fantastic night, so if you are in a band, have friends in a band or simply have a passion for music then please come along and show your support!”

The event will kick off at 7pm at The Assembly on Thursday 28thApril, and tickets are £4 in advance from eufest’s website, or £5 on the door.
