Festivals - now with added protection
eufest has taken the momentous step (well for us, anyway) of joining ABTA – the Association of British Travel Agents.

Renowned as the leading travel trade association within the UK, ABTA provides financial protection for consumers booking holidays with UK-based companies and is a byword for reliability, responsibility and security. The organisation only boasts around 1,200 members – but between them they accounted for more than 80% of holidays booked by all UK holiday makers last year.
“We’ve been running for seven years now,” commented director Anna-Maria O’Flynn on the company’s decision to join ABTA’s ranks, “and we felt it was time that we took this step to let people know that we are a credible and professional travel company. We still get customers – and sometimes their parents – calling us up to check if we are actually for real, because they can’t believe that there is a company out there doing what we do.
“But joining ABTA also provides a lot of benefits for our customers too. Any customers who book packages with us are automatically protected by ABTA in the event of anything happening to the company between them making their booking and the actual date of travel, which gives them great peace of mind. It also means we have access to ABTA’s panel of travel insurance providers, so festivalgoers can get the best cover for their trip at the best rates.
“Things like this and the new eufest Ticket Shop we launched recently are all part of providing a complete service specifically for festivals, which we believe makes us pretty unique,” concluded Anna-Maria.
