terms & conditions
1.1 All bookings made with eufest, whether by telephone, post, email or online, are subject to, and the client accepts, eufest's terms and conditions. You should read through these terms carefully, as they constitute a legally binding agreement.
1.3 Where two or more people are included on the same booking, the person purchasing the booking shall be deemed to do so on the basis that he/she acts as an agent (Group Leader) for all members of the party and accepts these booking conditions on behalf of each member of the party.
1.4 It is the responsibility of all customers to ensure that they obtain suitable and sufficient travel insurance to cover the duration of their trip.
1.5 It is the responsibility of the Group Leader to ensure that all the information on their eufest itinerary is correct. eufest accepts no responsibility for misinformation given by a customer which results in any delay, missed flights, forfeited accommodation or any failure to complete all or parts of a passenger's onward journey.
1.6 eufest Ltd is registered in England and Wales under registration no. 06572729, and our registered address is 4 Eagle Street, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, CV31 2AG, UK.
1.7 eufest's Terms and conditions are governed by English law in all respects.
2.1 Full payment is required for all bus transfers at the time of booking. eufest will provide written confirmation of the details regarding the booking by email, but the booking will be treated as unconfirmed until the Group Leader has provided all the required information pertaining to their booking.
2.2 Once your booking is confirmed, you will be able to print off your itinerary, which will also serve as your ticket. This must be presented to the eufest driver or eufest representative for both the outward and return trip, if applicable.
2.3 All payments made in respect of transport services are strictly non-refundable except in circumstances where eufest, due to causes beyond its control, cancels or, at its absolute discretion, agrees to cancel the booking. eufest accepts no responsibility for passengers' alternative travel arrangements.
2.4 eufest does not operate its own fleet of vehicles, but contracts on behalf of the transport operator concerned whose own conditions of carriage will apply.
2.5 eufest provides bus and coach transport between stated destinations and festivals only. All other travel and ticketing arrangements, including the purchasing of flight tickets and any necessary visas, remain the sole responsibility of the passenger. In the event of any passenger travelling without the necessary documentation, eufest reserves the right to refuse to honour that passenger's booking. No refunds shall be available.
2.6 No refunds will be made if flight delays or cancellations - or you missing your flight - cause you to miss your transfer. In the case of a delayed flight, drivers will wait as long as possible, with due consideration being given to the needs of delayed passengers as well as those already on board. If an additional transfer is required to get to your destination, this will be treated as a new and separate booking.
2.7 Transport bookings are non-transferable and may not be re-sold by customers. Your booking constitutes a reservation for a named individual to travel on one of our scheduled buses. If that individual does not appear to claim their seat then they are deemed to have forfeited their reservation and eufest retains the right to resell that seat.
2.8 For private transfers, the destination and pick-up addresses detailed on your itinerary are the address to which you will be delivered and picked up. Should you wish to change these or any other details, this must be done in writing by either email or letter directly with eufest, no later than seven days prior to the date of travel.
2.9 Customers are limited to two items of luggage (one bag or rucksack and one small hand luggage bag), plus one tent.
2.10 eufest reserves the right (and delegates to its bus providers and drivers the right) to refuse to carry any person who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or whose behaviour is considered to pose a threat to the driver, the vehicle or the other passenger(s).
2.11 Whilst every care is always taken, customers' property is carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage. Customers are therefore advised to check their own travel insurance.
2.12 eufest will use every reasonable means to ensure that vehicles depart at the stated time and reach their destination on time. Passengers are advised to allow at least an hour for passport control and baggage claim.
2.13 eufest will not incur any liability whatsoever in the event of any delay due to causes beyond its control, which include (but are not limited to) the following:
- accidents causing delays to the vehicle
- exceptional or severe weather conditions
- compliance with requests of the police
- deaths and accidents on the road
- vandalism and terrorism
- unforeseen traffic or border delays
- industrial action by third parties
- problems caused by other customers
- the vehicle being held or delayed by a police officer or government official
- other circumstances affecting passenger safety
2.14 eufest's responsibility is to provide suitable transport to the festival of your choice, and we cannot be held responsible for any failure of the festival to take place as advertised, or for unforseen events preventing customers from travelling to the festival. In the event of cancellation of all or parts of the festival, your transport will still be scheduled to proceed. Any costs incurred by eufest in the arrangement of this service will be met from payments received, which may result in only a partial refund - or none at all - being offered.
2.15 eufest accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury to your person or your property, however caused.
3.1 Payment of a deposit is required for all accommodation reservations at the time of booking to secure your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable and forms part of your rental fee. You may also be required to pay a separate and refundable deposit to insure against any damages which occur during your occupancy of the property, which may be requested at the time of booking, or subsequently, or upon your arrival. This deposit will be repaid in full upon or following your departure, providing the property is left in a reasonable condition.
3.2 eufest will provide written confirmation of the details regarding the booking by email, but the booking will be treated as unconfirmed until the Group Leader has provided all the required information pertaining to their booking and settled any due balance.
3.3 In some instances, full payment will be required in advance. In such cases, bookings will be treated as unconfirmed until such time as all monies have been received.
3.4 Once your booking is confirmed, you will be able to print off your itinerary, which will also serve as your accommodation voucher. This should be presented to the property owner, campsite management team or hotel/hostel reception upon arrival.
3.5 eufest do not own any of the properties listed on our website. Instead, in this transaction, we act in good faith as an intermediary between the property owner/manager and the customer, and cannot be held responsible for the quality, location or standard of accommodation provided.
3.6 If you should choose to cancel your accommodation booking, our cancellation policy is as follows:
- cancellation more than one month before arrival date will incur a charge of 50% of total accommodation cost
- cancellation one month or less before arrival date will incur a charge of 100% of total accommodation cost
Your deposit will count towards any cancellation fee imposed.
3.7 In the event of your booking being cancelled by eufest, your monies will be refunded, but eufest accept no responsibility for your alternative accommodation arrangements.
3.8 eufest cannot accept any responsibility for wear and tear or damage caused to the property during your stay, and cannot assist in any disputes over liability for any damages, nor for any costs arising from such a dispute.
3.9 The total price of accommodation is stated upon booking in pounds sterling, based upon the prevailing exchange rate. However, where balance of payment is due upon arrival at the accommodation in any other currency, eufest cannot be held responsible for currency exchange rate fluctuations leading to an increase or decrease in the total price paid.
3.10 Failure to arrive at the property will be treated as a cancellation on your part, and full payment will be due, in accordance with our cancellation policy.
3.11 eufest's responsibility is to provide suitable accommodation at the festival of your choice, and we cannot be held responsible for any failure of the festival to take place as advertised. In the event of cancellation of all or parts of the festival, your reservation will still be in place. Any costs incurred by eufest in the arrangement of this service will be met from payments received, which may result in only a partial refund - or none at all - being offered.
4.1 Full payment is required for all tickets at the time of booking. eufest will provide written confirmation of the details regarding the booking by email.
4.2 All ticket bookings are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, and can only be issued to the persons named on your confirmation. If you wish to change the names of the ticket holders, please contact us and we will endeavour to assist you, although a small admin fee may be charged for this service.
4.3 Where tickets are purchased directly from eufest, a voucher will be issued by email within 14 days. Customers should retain this voucher and redeem it at the festival box office to receive their ticket.
4.4 Where tickets are issued by other ticket providers, bookings are processed on a monthly basis and will be issued at each month end.
4.5 In the event of your booking being cancelled by eufest, your monies will be refunded, but eufest accept no responsibility for your alternative ticketing arrangements.
4.6 eufest's responsibility is to provide tickets to the festival of your choice, and we cannot be held responsible for any failure of the festival to take place as advertised. In the event of cancellation of all or parts of the festival, any costs incurred by eufest in the arrangement of this service will be met from payments received, which may result in only a partial refund - or none at all - being offered.
4.7 Admission is contingent on having a complete ticket in appropriate conditions. Tickets which are damaged or appear to have been tampered with may result in you failing to gain admission to the festival.
4.8 Possession of a ticket does not grant its holder or third parties the right to use the ticket or its contents for purposes related to advertising, marketing or promotions (including, expressly but not exclusively, contests, gifts and/or raffles) associated with the ticket holder or third parties.
4.9 As well as being bound by the above terms and conditions, all tickets sold by eufest are additionally subject to the terms and conditions of the individual festival organisers and ticket outlets.
4.10 Tickets sold by eufest are intended for fan use only. Any bookings suspected of being conducted by touts, or for the express purposes of re-selling, will be cancelled.
5.1 All bookings comprising transport and accommodation booked together at the same time will constitute a package, under the terms of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 (PTRs).
5.2 If you book arrangements which do not constitute a package holiday and have been issued a booking receipt and/or confirmation email in respect of those arrangements, any additional arrangements you subsequently book will be treated as a separate booking. The additional arrangements will not operate to convert your original booking into a package even where - had those additional arrangements been booked at the same time as the original arrangements - a package would have been booked.
5.3 All package bookings with eufest are covered against the eventuality of the financial failure of the company under the terms of the PTRs. In this situation, your booking is insured by International Passenger Protection Ltd (IPP) and its panel of insurers. This insurance is only valid for passengers who book and pay directly with eufest Ltd. For further information see www.ipplondon.co.uk.
6. amendments to prices
6.1 eufest reserves the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices at any time in response to changes in external supplier costs. We will inform customers of any price changes as soon as we become aware that changes need to be made.
6.2 Once the price of your chosen holiday has been confirmed, then, subject to the correction of omissions or errors, we will only increase the price if changes in transportation costs (including the cost of fuel and exchange rate variations) mean that the price of your travel arrangements change significantly after you have booked.
6.3 We undertake to absorb any increase equivalent to 2% of the price of your booking. If costs increase by more than 2% of the price paid, we reserve the right to charge any increase above that amount on to you. If this means that you have to pay an increase of more than 10% of the price of your original booking, eufest will allow you to transfer your booking to another of our festivals if available. If you choose not to transfer your booking, you may cancel and receive a full refund of all monies paid, except for any amendment charges incurred.
6.4 Should the price of your holiday go down due to the changes mentioned above, by more than 2% of your holiday cost, then any refund due will be paid to you. However, please note that travel arrangements are not always purchased in local currency and some apparent changes have no impact on the price of your travel due to contractual and other protection in place.
