Spain is the current home for one of Europe's longest-running music festivals. Originally founded in Italy in 1991 the festival relocated to Spain in 2010, settling in the seaside town of Benicassim - already the location of the legendary Festival Internacional de Benicassim (FIB).

Rototom Sunsplash is all about reggae, and attracts some of the biggest names in the world to perform across numerous stages. While the festival are still to confirm the line-up for 2017, artists who played last year included: Damien (Jr. Gong) Marley, Manu Chao, Macaco, Dub Inc, Israel Vibration, Gentleman's Dub Club, and Alborosie & The Shengen Clan.
