Positivus Festival has been taking place in the forests of Latvia since 2007, when it played host to 4,000 revellers. With the addition of an third day, the 2013 edition promises to be the biggest yet.

Last year's edition attracted 20,000 festivalgoers to the tiny seaside town of Salacgriva, as well as top-drawer international acts like Keane, the Vaccines, Ewert and the Two Dragons and Friendly Fires, making it the largest greenfield music and arts festival in the Baltics. The chilled out vibe and beautiful setting combine to make this one of the most laid-back and feel-good festivals on the circuit. I guess that's why they call it Positivus...

The festival's reputation has spread outside the Baltic states as well, seeing it nominated for the Best Overseas Festival category at the UK Festival Awards.
