Since its foundation in 2000, Exit has evolved to become one of the most important events in the festival calendar, attracting over 150,000 visitors every year.
The fantastic setting of the Petrovaradin fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia's second city, is one of the most iconic festival settings anywhere in the world, and the legendary dance arena has played host to some of the world's leading DJs in recent years. Meanwhile, the main stage has seen some of the biggest bands in the world treading the boards, but every year the festival organisers manage to surprise everyone with some inspired - and inspiring - acts.
