Bilbao BBK Live Festival is a rock and pop music festival which takes place every summer in the mountains of Kobetamendi Park, a natural space only 5 minutes from the centre of Bilbao with spectacular views over the city.
In only six years it has become one of the greatest Spanish and European music Festivals. Started in 2006 with the aim of putting Bilbao on the map of the big European Festivals, it has achieved its goal beyond all expectations.
Famous artists who have appeared at the Festival include Radiohead, The Cure, The Police, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, REM, Guns n’ Roses, Placebo, Ben Harper and Blondie.
Green Day have already been confirmed as this year's headliners - their only show in Spain this summer. Other confirmed acts for 2013 are Kings of Leon, Depeche Mode, Editors and Two Door Cinema Club.
