Festival Internacional de Benicassim is Spain's biggest and best-known festival. Every July, this sleepy seaside town between Barcelona and Valencia comes alive to welcome 35,000 revellers from across Europe for four days of top-notch rock and electronica. With more than a hundred artists performing across four stages, Benicassim caters for nearly every taste, and headliners in recent years have included acts such as the Arctic Monkeys, 2Many DJs, Tricky and Leonard Cohen.
