Founded in 2003, eufest is Europe's festival transport specialist, offering travel and accommodation options for some of the continent's biggest and best music festivals. With years of experience in the field, we know just how to get you where you want to be, when you want to be there.
eufest is an independent business founded and run by married couple Anna-Maria and Dermot O’Flynn. eufest’s vision is to provide quality and hassle free accommodation and travel options for the discerning festivalgoer. Music lovers and keen festival fans themselves, Anna and Dermot have 11 years of experience in the festival industry. With the help of their right-hand woman Lauren and their newest recruit Kat, they’re dedicated to making your holiday experience the best it could be possibly be.
The eufest story began back in 2003, when Anna-Maria had the initial idea for a travel company that specialised in European festivals. However, it wasn’t until 2006 that the idea really started to have legs when she began focusing on bus transfers for Serbia’s Exit Festival.
For two years, Anna and Dermot worked on building up festival and accommodation directories around Europe. In 2008, it was crunch time - if they wanted to make a proper go of eufest, then drastic action would have to be taken. It was.
Dermot left his permanent position as a PR ninja, and they hit the road. For three months in the summer of 2008, Anna-Maria, Dermot and their young daughter Lajla (it's Serbian, get over it), drove the length of Europe hunting for contacts and connections.
The trip was an enormous success and they left with a hoard of fantastic contacts that they have maintained to this day.
Since then eufest, has continued to grow, gathering new customers, new offices and new members of staff along the way. Since 2003, eufest has survived a move to France (and back), two new children and a handful of new members of staff (who are almost as problematic as the children).
As a company, we would like to thank everyone who has travelled, or worked with us over the years. Without you, there would be no eufest. So roll on the summer. We can’t wait to get back out there for another hectic, yet wonderful festival season.
